Janu teaches harp at the academy of Geraardsbergen in Belgium.

Beginners and more progressed students arelearning how to play the harpin her class.
As an extetion of the lessons Janu organises on regular basis small concerts where the students can play.
This way Janu offers the students a stage and the possibility to perform. This is an important part of the education.

Beside teaching in the academy, Janu is the only harpist that teaches also light musicin Belgium.


Janu's students also won prices on several music competitions:

•		Verbrugghen Anita:
		1ste prijs op de wedstrijd van Vlamo.
•		Breyne Helena:
		1ste prijs op muziekwedstrijd te Gent van VTB-VAB "Onze jeugd concerteert" (2006).
•		Vergeynst Jenna:
		Finaleplaats wedstrijd Vlamo (2009)
		Geselecteerd als Jong Talent voor het concert "Seduced by Harps" (2010)
